Other data is recorded by our IT systems automatically or after you consent to its collection during your website visit. This data comprises primarily technical information (e.g. web browser, operating system or time the site was accessed). This information is recorded automatically when you access this website.

There is a possibility that your browsing patterns will be statistically analysed when you visit this website. Such analyses are performed primarily from cookies and with what we refer to as analysis programmes. The analysis of your browsing patterns is generally anonymous; your browsing patterns cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. SSL and/or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as purchase orders or enquiries you submit to us as the website operator, this website uses either an SSL or a TLS encryption programme. You can recognise an encrypted connection by checking whether the address line of the browser switches from “http://” to “https://” and also by the appearance of the lock icon in the browser line.
If the SSL or TLS encryption is activated, data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

3. Recording of data on this website
Our websites and pages use what the industry refers to as “cookies.” Cookies are small text files that are placed onto your computer and saved by your browser. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device. Cookies serve to make our website more user-friendly, more effective and more secure.
Most of the cookies we use are session cookies. Session cookies are automatically deleted once you terminate your visit. Other cookies remain archived on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your computer upon your next visit.
You have the option to set up your browser in such a manner that you will be notified any time cookies are placed on your device and to permit the acceptance of cookies only in specific cases. You may also exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general or activate the delete function for the automatic eradication of cookies when the browser closes. If cookies are deactivated, the functions of this website may be limited.
Cookies, which are required for the performance of electronic communication transactions or for the provision of certain functions you want to use (e.g. the shopping cart function), shall be stored on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The operator of the website has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies to ensure the technically error free and optimised provision of the operator’s services. If other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyse your browsing patterns) are stored, they are dealt with separately in this data privacy declaration.
Server log files
The provider of this website and its pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser communicates to us automatically. The information comprises:
The type and version of browser used
The operating system used
The hostname of the accessing computer
The time of the server inquiry
The IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.
This data is recorded on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR which allows for the processing of data to fulfil a contract or pre-contractual measures.
If you submit enquiries to us via our contact form, the information provided in the contact form, as well as any contact information provided therein, will be stored by us in order to handle your enquiry and in the event that we have further questions. We will not share this information without your consent.
The processing is based solely on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. To do so, all you are required to do is send us an informal notification via e-mail. This shall be without prejudice to the lawfulness of any data collection that occurred prior to your revocation.
The information you have entered into the contact form shall remain with us until you ask us to delete the data, revoke your consent to the archiving of data or if the purpose for which the information is being archived no longer exists (e.g. after we have concluded our response to your inquiry). This shall be without prejudice to any mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods.
Processing of data (client and contract data)
We collect, process and use personal data only if it is required for the establishment, content or alteration of the legal relationship (stock data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 Section 1 lit. b GDPR, which allows the processing of data to fulfil a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data through the use of our website (usage data) only if it is required to enable the user to use the service or for billing.
The data collected is deleted after the contract has been completed or the business relationship has been terminated. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Transfer of data when concluding a contract for services and digital content
We only transfer personal data to third parties if it is necessary in the context of contract processing; for example to the credit institution commissioned with payment processing.
Further transmission of the data does not take place unless you have expressly consented to the transmission. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without express consent; for example for advertising purposes.
The basis for this processing is Art. 6 Section 1 lit. b GDPR, which allows the processing of data to fulfil a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Fax: +49 (0) 8055 9069-90
(Hereinafter the “Provider”)
The collection and processing of personal data
An applicant's personal data is processed to deal with their application in respect of unsolicited applications or those received in response to a specific job advertisement. The processing serves to check whether the applicant is suitable for the position to be filled and, if necessary, to draw up an employment contract. The applicant must submit the data required to process the application; otherwise the application cannot be processed.
The basis for the data processing is § 26 Section 1 of the Federal Data Protection Act.
b. When using the online form
When applicants send their application to the provider using the online form on the “Careers” page, their first name, surname and e-mail address are collected. The application cannot be sent without entering a name and e-mail address.
The legal basis for the processing of this data is § 26 Section 1 of the Federal Data Protection Act.
The applicant may additionally upload documents that include data relevant to their application. Section 2.a of our data protection notice applies to this data.
Transfer to third parties
Applicant data is transferred to third parties only:
if there is a legal obligation to do so,
in cases of legitimate interest of the provider (e.g. to authorities, lawyers, courts, committees, supervisory bodies), or
if the applicant has given their consent.
In addition, the provider’s processor may come into contact with the applicant’s data.
Routine deletion and blocking of personal data
The provider processes and stores the data subject’s personal data only as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose of its retention. Storage can also take place as long as it has been provided for by European or national legislators in Union law regulations, laws or other regulations to which the controller is subject.
As soon as the storage purpose no longer applies or a retention period prescribed by the aforementioned regulations expires, the personal data will be routinely deleted.
If the applicant is not hired, their data will be deleted six months after the decision (electronic data) or returned to the applicant in the original (paper documents).
Under certain conditions, the applicant has the following rights against the provider with regard to the personal data that concerns them:
the right to information,
the right to correction or deletion,
the right to the restriction of processing,
the right to the objection of the processing, and
the right to data portability.
Applicants also have the right to log a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of their personal data by the provider.
The applicant’s right to revoke consent
If the applicant has given consent to the processing of their data by the provider, they can revoke this at any time.
5. Analysis tools and advertising
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider of this service is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses so-called cookies. Cookies are text files, which are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of the use of the website by users. The information generated by cookies on your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the United States, where it is stored.
The storage of Google Analytics cookies and the utilisation of this analysis tool are based on Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The operator of this website has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user patterns to optimise both the services offered online and the operator’s advertising activities.
On this website, we have activated the IP anonymisation function. As a result, your IP address will be abbreviated by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other states that have ratified the Convention on the European Economic Area prior to its transmission to the United States. The full IP address will be transmitted to one of Google’s servers in the United States and abbreviated there only in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of this website to generate reports on website activities and to render other services to the operator of this website that are related to the use of the website and the Internet. The IP address transmitted in conjunction with Google Analytics from your browser shall not be merged with other data in Google’s possession.
You do have the option of preventing the archiving of cookies by making pertinent changes to the settings of your browser software. However, we have to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all of the functions of this website to their fullest extent. Moreover, you have the option of preventing the recording of the data generated by the cookie and affiliated with your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link:

Contract data processing
We have executed a contract data processing agreement with Google and are implementing the stringent provisions of the German data protection agencies to the fullest when using Google Analytics.
Demographic parameters provided by Google Analytics
This website uses the function “demographic parameters” provided by Google Analytics. It makes it possible to generate reports providing information on the age, gender and interests of website visitors. The sources of this information are interest-related advertising by Google as well as visitor data obtained from third party providers. This data cannot be allocated to a specific individual. You have the option to deactivate this function at any time by making pertinent settings changes for advertising in your Google account or you can generally prohibit the recording of your data by Google Analytics as explained in section “Objection to the recording of data”.
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter referred to as “reCAPTCHA”) on this website. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to determine whether data entered on this website (e.g. information entered into a contact form) is being provided by a human user or by an automated programme. To determine this, reCAPTCHA analyses the behaviour of the website visitors based on a variety of parameters. This analysis is triggered automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the site. For this analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates a variety of data (e.g. IP address, time the website visitor spent on the site or cursor movements initiated by the user). The data tracked during such analyses are forwarded to Google.
reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not alerted that an analysis is taking place.
Data is stored and analysed on the basis of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the protection of the operator’s websites against abusive automated spying and against SPAM.
5. Plug-ins and tools
Our website uses plug-ins from Google’s YouTube. The website operator is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.
When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plug-in, a connection to YouTube’s servers is established. As a result, the YouTube server will be notified as to which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged into your YouTube account while you visit our site, you enable YouTube to directly allocate your browsing patterns to your personal profile. This can be prevented by logging out of your YouTube account.
The use of YouTube is based on our interest in presenting our online content in an appealing manner. This is a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR.
If our website uses the plug-ins of the video portal Vimeo, the website operator is Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA.
When you visit one of our pages equipped with a Vimeo plug-in, a connection is created to the Vimeo server. The Vimeo server is informed which page(s) you have visited. Vimeo also receives your IP address. This is also the case if you are not logged into Vimeo or do not have a Vimeo account. The information collected by Vimeo is sent to the Vimeo server in the USA.
When you are logged into your Vimeo account, you allow Vimeo to allocate your browsing patterns directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your Vimeo account.
Google Web Fonts
This page uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required Web Fonts in your browser cache to correctly display text and fonts.
To do so, the browser you are using must connect to the Google servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website has been accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of creating a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offer. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR.
If your browser does not support Web Fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.
Via an API, this website uses the mapping service Google Maps. The provider is
Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
To enable the use of the Google Maps features, your IP address must be stored. As a rule, this information is transferred to one of Google’s servers in the United States, where it is archived. The operator of this website has no control over the data transfer.
We use Google Maps to present our online content in an appealing manner and to make the locations disclosed on our website easy to find. This constitutes a legitimate interest as defined in Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. F GDPR.
