The collection and processing of personal data

a. Fundamentally

An applicant's personal data is processed to deal with their application in respect of unsolicited applications or those received in response to a specific job advertisement. The processing serves to check whether the applicant is suitable for the position to be filled and, if necessary, to draw up an employment contract. b. When using the online form

When applicants send their application to the provider using the online form on the “Careers” page, their first name, surname and e-mail address are collected. The application cannot be sent without entering a name and e-mail address.

The legal basis for the processing of this data is § 26 Section 1 of the Federal Data Protection Act.

The applicant may additionally upload documents that include data relevant to their application. Section 2.a of our data protection notice applies to this data.

Transfer to third parties

Applicant data is transferred to third parties only:

  • if there is a legal obligation to do so,

  • in cases of legitimate interest of the provider (e.g. to authorities, lawyers, courts, committees, supervisory bodies), or

  • if the applicant has given their consent.

Routine deletion and blocking of personal data
